FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions You May Have

What materials can I spray?

This sprayer is compatible with water-based and solvent-based paints, primers, varnishes, automotive finishes, sealants, and wood preservatives. It is not suitable for alkaline or acidic paints.

Do I need to thin paint when using an HVLP spray gun?

Yes. Thin the paint as needed for proper spraying. Use water for water-based paints and the specified thinner for oil- or solvent-based paints. Add the thinner gradually, stir thoroughly, and check the viscosity (≤120 DIN-S) with the viscosity cup. Always strain the paint before spraying.

What techniques ensure a perfect spray finish?

Prep: Clean surface & test spray on cardboard. Maintain 10-30cm distance. Spray vertically at steady pace, overlapping each pass slightly. Apply thin coats with drying intervals. Keep spray gun perpendicular for uniform coverage.

What is the correct cleaning method?

Clean within 15 minutes after use: Disassemble, brush residues from all parts. Clean nozzles with the included needle. Rinse: water (water-based) or solvent then water (oil-based). Flush until discharge runs clear. Dry completely before reassembly.
